Paid Partnership with Hobbycraft
I’ve always loved choosing lovely bits and pieces for the children’s birthday parties, in fact I’ve lost count in how many we’ve hosted. When Hobbycraft asked me to work with them I was amazed at the wide variety of party supplies they stock.
With Spring (hopefully) just around the corner there are heaps of super cute Spring Time decorations on the website. I simply couldn’t resist a bunny themed tea party for Tiggy this year.
I spotted the artificial grass first and that sent my head spinning with the idea of a garden on the party table. It’s so effective and I know it’ll get used again and again for various occasions.
The little green bunnies make it super fun and I added some daisy crowns to their ears. These little wire flowers are perfect for adding detail and super easy to use, they have wire stalks so you can literally attach them to anything. They do lots of other types of flower too, and I just had to go with daisy’s to make it extra cutesy. The centre piece of the table is the cardboard cake stand it’s so adorable and will be coming back out for Easter.
The Kraft and gold paper plates are part of the Ginger Ray collection and are stocked exclusively at Hobbycraft as is the chevron cutlery. I’ve always been a bit of a mix and matcher rather than sticking with one theme, and there’s just too many lovely designs not to pick pieces from all of the collections. One of my favourite details are the little glass bottles perfect for milkshakes and can be made super fun with a snazzy straw. They come in packs of 12 or as individuals and will most likely be used for every party from now on, I can imagine them with little flower arrangements in or even better cheeky G&T’s in the summer (for the adult’s parties obviously).
What’s a Birthday party these days without a gigantic number balloon? I went for bright pink to compliment the Ginger Ray paper flowers, but they also come in several other colour ways too. Hobbycraft even sell the helium so you really can do it all yourself.
I’m wondering if I can get away with keeping the paper flower decorations up all year round. I just love the pop of colour against the dark wall in my kitchen. You do have to put them together yourself but it’s easy and didn’t take long at all.
I love choosing little themes for parties but after you’ve thrown a few you can start getting stuck for new ideas. This must be one of my favourite themes, yet I’d say. It’ll be tough to top next year.
I’ve listed all of the Hobbycraft products below with direct links to all items.
