This month with Very has been all about cosy knitwear and embracing Autumn.
Over half term we headed down to Somerset for a little break which was very much needed I knew we would be doing lots of outdoor activities so wanted to make sure everyone was kitted out and prepared for the elements. It’s not often I dress the children in matching clothes anymore but when I spotted these super soft red knits for the younger girls, I knew they both needed one, teamed with the all-important yellow wellies.... if you know Tig you’ll know how important yellow wellies are to her and now she’s just gone up in the world and has her very own pair of tiny Hunters WHIT WOO.
My favourite item for the children this month must be Tigs fluffy cardigan/jacket it is literally the softest cutest thing ever I just love it. It’s perfect for this inbetweeny weather we’re having where they don’t need a full-on coat as such.
However, if there was a competition for the best fluffy coat.... there’s not, but if there were, we all know there’s only one guy in the running for that title and that would be the faux fur coat of dreams practically perfect in every way.... so unbelievably cosy, just the right length and just the right shade of pink. I just know this will be part of my wardrobe for ever a fabulous statement piece for these colder months.
I don’t know about you but as soon as the weather changes, I just seem to live in jeans literally every day I try to do skirts or dresses and tights but it’s just not really me and the minute I get home I’ll be running upstairs to get back into those beloved skinnies. Not wanting to spend the next six months in the same outfit I’ve been on the hunt for some alternative trousers.
So far this checked pair by Very are a firm fav I love the colours (I have a thing about green at the moment) and they are just as comfy as the trusty jeans. The cut is super flattering and I really think you could dress them up or down. Here I have teamed them with ankle boots, but I think they would look fab with converse and a t-shirt to my only regret is not getting the matching jacket…
